Urban and peri-urban wildlife management

We offer specialised services in wildlife management and control, with a particular focus on wild boar, a species that is causing increasing conflict in urban and peri-urban areas.

Commitment to safety and animal welfare

With extensive experience in this field, we provide technical solutions that are safe and respectful with animal welfare, always in accordance with the current regulations and the procedures established by the competent authorities.

WILD BOAR CONTROL

We effectively manage the presence of wild boars in:

  • Urban and peri-urban areas of municipalities.
  • Sports clubs and croplands.

We use specific trap cages, designed to ensure a safe and efficient capture:

  • Easy to install (can be set up by two people).
  • Optimal dimensions so that animals can gain entry to them without any difficulty.
  • Designed to minimise injury and stress to the animals.

Other methods that can be used are vertical nets and suspended/drop nets.

VETERINARY MANAGEMENT OF WILDLIFE

We offer management of wildlife services including:

  • Capture and immobilisation.
  • Anaesthesia and transfer.
  • Surgery and specialised veterinary care.

We are authorised by the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Government of Catalonia as health responsible for the transfer of animals between zoos. We ensure compliance with Directive 92/65/CEE and issue the necessary health certificates and documents.

Collaboration with the Catalan Government

We work as health surveillance veterinarians in coordination with the Animal Health Prevention Service of the Government of Catalonia, guaranteeing the utmost rigour in every intervention.
